Bio

Dr. Nader is a Registered Psychologist in the province of British Columbia (CPBC #1683) and certified in cognitive-behavioural therapy by the Canadian Association of Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies. He received a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of British Columbia after completing a pre-doctoral internship (with a primary rotation in the Anxiety Disorders Clinic) at the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority in 2005.

Dr. Nader is a director at the North Shore Stress and Anxiety Clinic, where he has been working as a psychologist in private practice since 2005, specializing in diagnosis, assessment and treatment of anxiety disorders (specifically posttraumatic stress disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, and specific phobias), depression, and chronic pain and stress management.

In addition to his private practice, he is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of British Columbia and Clinical Associate in the Department of Psychology at Simon Fraser University, teaching and training clinical psychology graduate students. Dr. Nader has been qualified as an Expert Witness in Psychology in the Supreme Court of British Columbia and RCMP hearings in the Federal Court of Canada.

He has published research articles in scholarly journals and given presentations at national and international scientific and professional conferences in the areas of forensic psychology, pain, and substance abuse.
